Need Advice on small scale pop network script/tracking

Looking for a bit of advice from you guys.

I've been speaking to a couple of site owners lately about running pops on their sites and have trying to figure out what to use for tracking etc.

I need to be able to set different cpm price for each geo and also be able to give access to each site owner to view their stats.

I would be running my own campaigns for a number of the geos and possibly passing the rest onto to monetizer or similar, so would carry on using Voluum from my end.

Also as i would only be testing the theory out to start and see if its worth while, i dont wanna be spending a fortune on a solution.

Anyone got any solution ideas?

Is webmaster access a must? Does this have to be in real time?

You need an "ad server" for this, the first option that comes to my mind would be http://openx.com/, I think they are free until you reach large volume. Not sure about the webmaster access tho. Custom coded would be the best option but that can be a ton of $$$ and when not coded properly, it could become a nightmare.

Hey @ploppythejailer

You can use tracking software, such as AdsBridge, in order to set precise targeting adding the rules to your campaign. http://take.ms/FJ8li
For different cpm price you can create several campaigns, if you are not using dinamyc values. Also, there is a multi-user access, so you can add several persons to your account and limit their access in case needed. https://monosnap.com/file/VuIyCbSCyM...xcjMOcNTBRdaA#

So, I you are going to give it a try, you can start with:
- Traffic source creation http://news.Adsbridge.com/traffic-source-creation/
- Affiliate network http://news.adsbridge.com/affnetwork-setup-2/
- Offer creation http://news.adsbridge.com/createoffer/
- Campaign creation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABtymJY_2xc

If you can any questions our support team will be glad to assist you, support@adsbridge.com

Yeah im just testing some ad server stuff now, from what i've read openx don't have a free plan anymore, they want $1000+ startup, then atleast the same again monthly!

@alexom

I don't think Adsbridge would be suitable to be honest. If i wanted to have different pricing on 50 geos i don't really wanna be setting up 50 campaigns. thanks anyway.

Ah, last time I tried them, they were free. But after a security breach, I dumped them and never looked back. Seems like they topped up their game since.

Another approach we used to employ sometimes was to use google analytics, some webmasters were OK with it, thou it wasn't actually in their favor all that much. At the end of the period we agreed on, I would pull a report for them from GA and calculate the $ based on rates we agreed on. Might be something to consider too.
