Answer this question that intrigues every newbie ( Related to the CookBook Appetiser)

I have a question that intrigues me since a while now i've seen lot of guys posting things about both " PLs & Banners" in mobile offers! using Go2mobi as a traffic source. We do need only Banners and good offer when it comes to promoting mobile offers am i right? And the LPs are basically used for desktop offers they are not necessary for mobile true? So here is my question when using go2mobi we need :

1) landing page --> offer ? Or

2) Simply a good looking banner --> offer. ?

3) Or both? if yes How ! Thank you and sorry for the newbie question.

You don't need a LP for some offers, doesn't matter if they are mobile or desktop. But usually a good LP with increase the performance, so you should definitely look into it too. If you can find a killer offer, it can work directlinked (without LP) but its not so easy. For the sake of just making a campaign and running some traffic for real, directlinked will do just fine, you will most likely loose money on it but it will serve good enough to learn the basics like the basic setup, tracking and analyzing the data. To really get anywhere in this biz, LPs will be necessary too.

Thank you matuloo, tell me please targeting mobile its good to use LPs or Banners?

Hey Sharkov! As Matuloo said, it depends on the offer. I like to use LP's with most offers on mobile or desktop, even when using a great banner. So banner> LP > offer. But as mentioned, you can direct link just to get the feeling of running a offer. You can also just rip a LP to start off and get ideas of what works.
