Hi,

Is it still possible to scrape emails / ID's from facebook pages to create custom audiences?

Anyone have experiences with this? Do you still do this with the risk getting a facebook ban?

Not so much, but it isn't so hard creating an email lead capture campaign and just collect well-targeted emails to use them as a custom audience base... in PE you have great options for targeting so precisely.

Facebook don't let you upload raw ID's to custom audiences anymore. You have to use the user's id associated with your app to prove you have connected with them. https://adespresso.com/academy/blog/...tom-audiences/

Scraping for emails can still be done but has no potential for scale, I wouldn't bother unless commissions are insanely high.

Many advertisers are willing to give you a small list of buyers' emails if you let them know you wont be mailing it, and just using the lists to run FB traffic. Advertisers love FB traffic.

I though so. is there any other way to spy your competitors audiences to create a look a like audience?
