Jeez, back to square one with this.
Got a few conversions, nothing spectacular. But CPVLAB didn't capture from where they originate.
Tracking: CPVLab
Affiliate Network: Avazu
I realized that I was using {subid} parameter, but avazu doesn't allow that parameter.
I've updated the affiliate link to include Avazu's system-wide parameters. Maybe then I can at least see correct data on avazu's conversion report.
I am hoping this, at least, is correct (but I have to bleed more money to get a conversion if I want to find out).
But the question still remains...
How can I get CPVLab to grab that data?
And how do I get CPVLab to grab that data, and then match it with data from the traffic source?
These are the breaks that I can't seem to break
Did you get your AM to setup your postback correctly? It should look something like this.....
http://yourdomain.com/track/adclick.php?subid=[dv1]
If possible you should be able to get all of the conversions you have at Avazu from the clickids and update it on CPVLab. Not really sure where that's at. Perhaps someone who's more experienced in CPVLab could help you with that.
Note: The information between CPVLab and Affiliate Network will not match especially impressions and the costs of your campaigns. Unless you manually update the costs which I'm not even sure if CPVLab has that feature. I know
Hi Simon_89
I've updated my link to look like that. Note it's simply a matter of getting a conversion to test it out.
With that said, Avazu conversion report couldn't bring up stats about that conversion. The click report it's working, but conversion report it's not.
I'm guessing this is because I set up the traffic source's post back url wrong?
Ha, spent 4 hours on tracking yesterday. Still not recording conv.
At this point I'm just trying to link traffic source and affiliate network just to see if conv. Tracking is even possible.
How much hemorrhaging must I go through before this tracking stuff makes sense? I'm passing out here.
