Coming to Berlin for business, what's a must?

There's a conference about IOT and some business meetings to set up, arriving tomorrow until Wednesday.
Know of any interesting / must do affiliate meetups / tech related things to do?

LMK!

Berlin is one of the most amazing cities in the world ... explore this fascinating place ... and after you have done so, go out to Sansoucci in Potsdam.

Just got back from Startup Europe Summit 2016 (ends today)

Go to meetup.com and search for stuff (in Berlin) during the weekend and the following week. you'll find a few to attend to.

In general, not a lot of **affiliate** meetups here in Berlin, but that is something we have in the works.

How did you find the experience? Would love to read a writeup. Did you find anyone to invest in?

I find the events in Berlin too messy. The beauty in niche events is that you have a roadmap for tackling an event properly.

On the other end, also going to those messy mainstream events such as Startup Europe Summit 2016 or WebSummit for example, if you're not really focus on achieving specific goals, you'll not gain anything from the event, except spending money on flights and hotels. Is that the funding you're looking for, the contacts, the potential clients etc. And always have a plan B in case you planned to approach the funding side for example, but realised most of the VC's are targeting totally different niches, which makes you not so relevant. You get the idea.

I'm going to the mainstream ones only for BizDev and new contacts. So back to your question, the purpose of Startup Europe Summit 2016 wasn't to invest.
