I encountered a problem, would be glad if anyone could shed some light on it.
I wanted to spy on Facebook ads in target country with manual method. Bought 5 y. old acc, but empty one, nothing filled at all, no activity on it. The sidebar ads on Desktop were displayed from the start. But no newsfeed ads.
So I started to use this account like normal user, filled the profile, added hometown, current town, added picture, friends, started visiting each day and liking pages, posts, reading them etc.
It's been 10 days already and Facebook still doesn't show newsfeed ads. The sidebar ads are there, but not targered, they are not related to what I am liking each day.
So my question is did I do something wrong with this acc, and FB thinks that I am bot, or it didn't gather enough stats on my behavior to understand what ads to show me? Should I continue to warm it and wait for when ads appear?

FB's algo is very complex and it can def detect if you're not a real person.
You should give it some more time, but if it still doesn't work after 10 more days it's most likely your setup that is causing the problem. You should look into each step on what and how you did. Every click you make on FB is tracked and analyzed...
Would be more time efficient to find someone in the area and get them to install LogMeIn or send screenshots. A quick $5 and they should be willing - Warming up accounts for a small amount of ads is much more effort these days than it's worth!
I'm sure you are aware of Facebook Spy Tools - if you have the budget for that it makes life a lot easier!
