Having talked to a lot of newbies in this community, I've noticed that one of the biggest and most common challenges is not knowing how to optimize a campaign.
It's not an easy topic to discuss in general terms, because there are so many different strategies and approaches that can be applied to so many different situations resulting from numerous campaign variables.
This is what makes it difficult to write a one-size-fits-all optimization guide - although I tried to address some of the considerations here:

As a follow-up to that thread, I thought it may be beneficial to do a series of mini case studies to demonstrate some of the things that can be done when optimizing a campaign.
I'm by no means an expert, so if anyone has further suggestions/comments, positive or negative, I would love to hear them! I still have a lot to learn, so please don't hold back on criticism.
