digitalmarketer.com SEO course - review??

is this any good?
http://digitalmarketer.com/lp/search...-certification

recently I(we) got slapped by google-cops and need to get back in the game. our sites are no longer on 1st page. my question is, anyone here bought the course above and can it help me with ranking? I don't mind spending that $500 if I can get some valuable information out of it.

I don't have anything to say on this particular course, but the majority of stuff released by Ryan is really good.

I you got slapped by Google for SEO practices and you want to find out why, I doubt this course will give you the answer.

Better off do some research and see what Moz, SearchEngineLand and other SEO guys have to say.

Why not curing your sites first before started something else?

If your website was penalized with a manual action then just get an Agency to detox your website and figure out why Google penalized
you in the first place. Once you clean up your backlinks or straighten out any over-optimization issues you can file for a reconsideration request. =)

^ will look into it thanks.

do you think its a good idea to start fresh? lets see I wanna get new servers/domains under someone else's name or that wouldnt be necessary? I do want to be as "whitehat" as possible but also need to be on the 1st page.

I have been doing SEO for more than 2 years, tbh, it is better off doing thing fresh. It takes forever for them to reconsider your site.

There is no such things called WH SEO anymore, once you SEO your site(s), you bare certain risk of getting slapped. So the best approach is creating as many sites/ niches as possible.

Regarding to SEO courses, i don't think there is a single SEO course that worth its money, you can find all those information for absolutely free, save your $500 and test different SEO services, some works, some doesn't, just like anything else in AM.

You will learn 100x faster this way than buying a course and doing SEO yourself.

Just my 2cent.

^ thanks

whats your opinion about start fresh tho? can I use all my existing accounts to get new domains/server or start over with someone else's name. I can easily get a supplementary credit card for someone else's number but we'd still pay for everything from our business account.

Starting fresh means just starting new sites, i dont think there is a need to use different cc's etc. I think it's easier to get new sites going than trying to remove penalties

You could try doing a 301 redirect to a different domain name. I have tried this year or two ago for an SEO thin affiliate site and it worked

Heard from others who have tried this the success rate is 50/50 but certainly worth a try.
