Can advertisers see the creatives i'm using? (7)
Hi Guys
I'm testing a dating offer that converts great, but the offer page says "no custom creative"... of course there is no way to be profitable with their shitty banners (their best one had a 0.1% CTR),
I'm already using DMR but can they see the creatives i'm using?
In case its adult dating and you're running on the bigger sites, they can surely find the banners - many advertisers spy on whats running on the top sites and we both know it's very easy to spy in adult.
The weird part is that they don't allow custom creatives, did you talk about this with your AM? Adult dating offers usually aren't picky when it comes to creatives ... or are we talking about mainstream stuff here?
Regardless of the vertical, DMR isn't 100% safe, so the referrer info can get through.
They say that to protect themselves and avoid legal problems. Obviously in adult there are huge issues surrounding copyright, a lot of affs will just find a high CTR image and use it regardless of source, copyright etc. They're pretty much saying 'if your creatives get us in trouble - it's your problem'.
DMR won't have any effect on the banner. As matuloo has pointed out, they will use spy tools for this.
I would tread carefully. That line also gives them an excuse to say 'no payment for you, you broke the terms'.
I would send some of your creatives to AM for approval and be aware of the above.
yes it's adult dating, ok i will talk to my AM before sending more traffic, but is it a good idea to send him my best banner?
