Tracking with Neverblue ?! (13)

Tracking with Neverblue ?!

So, tracking directly with a network (Neverblue in this case) link helps a lot with losing clicks that would otherwise get lost with Prosper not redirecting properly.

Anyone seen this problem/know what's up with this...

If you run an advanced report that shows you details of the campaign its VASTLY different from running a normal report.

Stats above is for exactly the same campaign - only difference is that the one below is an "Advanced Report" that shows carrier and handsets

No matter how bad as their carrier, handset database is, there are clicks that don't match up to their data. When you click advanced report you will notice a little asterics (*) where they say data that is unknown will not be reported. IMO that is stupid they should just make a line item that sais Not Available.

Still this is better than 90% of the mobile reporting out there.

Hopefully Marty will give me some more insight as well.

The way to do it is just to stick to subid and to track everything through that. VAST improvement!

The Angry Russian is dead on. With everything. Some devices get dropped in the tracking (mostly WAP devices).

I also agree with him that we should show a line item for 'Not Reporting'. That is a great idea, and I will take that to our dev team.

Tracking directly with Subid is da bomb. Its a little harder to read the data though.

What would be AMAZING is to be able to use multiple Subid's - Subid1=, Subid2= ec and be able to filter that out in the reports. I don't know if Neverblue's tracking platform allows that but it works very well with HasOffers.

From my AM at NB

"You can’t append multiple sub ids yet, but this is coming down the pipeline. "

you cannot append multiple SubIDs, that is correct. But coming down the pipeline....Not going to be for a while....

Marty, is it possible to creating an appended subid for each mobile transaction with something like &subid={brand}-{model}-{carrier}?

&subid=JT_ADBUNDLE,JT_KEYWORD,JT_PUBLISHER ?<< if you're on JumpTap. Replace with whatever you ad network uses.

The problem is that its not in tabs and makes sorting the data harder.

Its possible in Excell though

You can set it up in Prosper202 with the c1-c4 variables like this:

Code:
http://yourtrackingdomain.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=9135&c1=JT_ADBUNDLE&c2=JT_KEYWORD&c3=JT_PUBLISHER&t202kw=
Then if you go to the Group Overview report on the Overview tab, you can group and sort the results by c1, c2, c3, etc.

@ Josh, stay away from Prosper with mobile. You can try it but my experience was bad.
