Log-in Same Account on 2 Different IPs/Locations At the Same Time?
Hi,
Am running a good aged account that's doing only whitehat stuff.
Was wondering if logging into the same account via 2 different IPs/locations at the same time will trigger any issues?

It's not the best practice... but on the other hand the Business Manager makes it easy and commonplace to share access to resources.
If you need two different people logging in simultaneously, why not just provide that second person's personal user with BM mediated access to the account?
If you're running whitehat, none of the users/IPs are going to flag, then it is unlikely to be a problem. If it's you logging in from multiple places at the same time... I'm not sure why that's happening in the first place?

Thanks zeno for your response.
Let's just say I'm using A's acc to run the ads, on their personal ads account (business manager has been a headache with payments etc, so lastly resorted to personal ads acc).
While I'm doing the ad stuff in 1 location, A may be at another location doing their normal FB activities.
So yes I'll try to avoid this as much as possible, perhaps use remote desktop or teamviewer.
But just in case I really have to, I'm wondering if it will get flagged.

I've had times where it flagged, or more precisely logged me out and said someone hacked my account.
and I've had times where I was able to do it normally. Generally, I prefer not to do it as an extra safety measure. Maybe TeamViewer can solve your problem.

I would tend to agree with Zeno. You're running whitehat, if Facebook see's a problem with your account - if everything is as you say it is your account will be reactivated after the flag.Perhaps focus more so on the root of your problem?

What issues were you having with BM?
Something to be aware of - TeamViewer can have a negative effect on your productivity due to the the slowdown in responsiveness.

I'm not even sure what's really going on or how to explain it.
First started creating the BM account, and added a CC as the payment method. It got flagged for unusual activity which I'm told was pretty common.
Went through with support for the identity verification, all was fine and they reactivated the account.
BUT looking in BM, it still shows something like "this account needs to be reactivated, pls goto your ads manager, etc".
Asked in the same support ticket, the guy said he can't help using this email alias. No idea wth that means.
Opened a new support ticket, but no one gave a crap even till now.
So was kinda stuck.
Went to add the payment method again, card was blocked.
Tried to add another card (same name), also blocked. No freaking idea why.
Finally said screw it, the BM account is F'ed up. And also the cards are blocked now.
Read some other ppl are facing the same issue, could be a bug. But whatever.
So went and added a Paypal (also same name) into personal ads account. And seems to be running okay.

Try to create a different environment for each of your accounts and never log in simultaneously... Even if you run whitehat, what's the point of getting flagged then waiting for days hoping to get your account back?
Just stick to certain security measures and you won't have a problem in the future. Lesson learned.
