Question about Business Website

Hi guys,

I'm still in my learning phase with affiliate marketing, so it's just me and my endeavors at the moment. My question is in regards to creating a business website, primarily for applying to networks.

Eventually I will create a real business but in the meantime, my question is this:

is it bad to have a business website now, when it's just me? Do I need to register the business name or can I just create a business website that explains what I do and what I'm into? If anyone has any links to any threads that I couldn't find or websites that would help a lot.

In the meantime, I'll keep digging online.

Thanks!

It's a must if you want a lot of networks to take you seriously / makes approval more likely with the pickier networks.

A large majority of 'affiliate' or 'agency' businesses are one man shows. Don't let this undervalue the business worth. You have the power to work more than 5/10 employee's combined if you work smart. Become a power house. With affiliate marketing you generally end up hiring people every few weeks to do odd jobs, programming, graphics, pa, etc. The business will build before you know it.

You can just register the website for now. Depending on your location, you may need to register a business before carrying out any business activities. I recommend it as it can help push you to the next level knowing you have 'a real thing' set up. It's not required though if you're just testing the waters.
