I'm sure a lot of us take advantage of backbutton redirects to increase revenue and ROI. I have a question re backbutton redirect:
what's a good way to implement backbutton redirects that also allow you to track conversions for all the redirects? Let's say my setup is this:
Traffic source -> LP1 -> backbutton to LP2 -> backbutton to LP3 -> backbutton to offer
I tried creating different campaigns for each backbutton redirect but now the tracker is randomly sending traffic to unrelated campaigns. This is a huge headache. I create different landers for each traffic source because of the redirect. Not sure how to solve this.
Thanks guys
hey krass,
on my tracker (using funnelflux), i have setup a campaign called "redirect". under the campaign, it auto-rotates to several different offers which are applicable for the same geo.
for the backbutton redirect, i set it up to point to that "redirect" campaign. it's that simple. Alternatively, if you're also using funnelflux, you could use another action number, and setup the other offers within your funnel.
if you're using a different tracker, i believe you could also setup a "redirect" campaign and link to it.
