Has anyone ever experienced this? All of my campaigns were paused for a 24 hour period, yet each campaign was still receiving impressions and clicks.
I've also noticed that my day parting rules were not recognized.
I triple checked everything and it is set up correctly.
I've emailed advertiser support, but haven't got a response (It's been over 24 hours).
Hello.
What traffic sources do you use?
For example if you pause campaign in Propeller ads you'll receive traffic for more 5-10 minutes and Popads have same for me, 2-3 minutes after pause it shows some impressions. Recieve clicks after 24 hour period is possible too, you showed your ad as popunder and user did not open LP or closed browser.
You can choose Time zone in each Popads campaign, so choose the same as your
I hope this helps,
Cheers!
Thanks oleander.
StartApp finally got back to me. A campaign can continue to get impressions and clicks for up to 10 days after the campaign is completely paused. That's pretty crazy lol
My campaign was active then was paused and denied. During this time it was inactive, my campaign was still spending every day.
Still waiting for them to get back to me.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one!
same issue here, didn't hear back yet
This is what they said
"As mentioned, it is normal that a campaign will keep receiving traffic even few days after it was stopped. Once the campaign is active, it start sending requests to show your ads on the apps. Not all the requests turned into impressions right away and not all the impressions turned into clicks. Some of the requests are stored at the cache of the devices and could turn into impressions even days after the campaign have stopped. When the campaign have a lot of traffic, there are a lot of requests out there that will eventually turn into clicks. You can see that after you stop the campaign, every day there is a decrease in the traffic and eventually it will not receive traffic at all."
