Hi everyone,
I am fairly new to AM, and looking to start with $1000 investment (total), so I want to make sure I allocate my budget to the right infrastructure, tools, campaigns etc
Trackers @ $0 - $299?
I am trying to choose between propsper202 vs. cpvlab vs.
I know propsper202 is free, but also not the easiest to setup / non-newbie friendly
Cpvlab, I heard great things about it a few years ago but I don't see many uses it anymore?
Traffic Source / Vertical @ $250 - $500 as a start, and continue to refill balance as I go?
I am planning go start with Native Ads. Probably skin/nutra, and maybe insurance.
Probably going to join content.ad as a start, and I believe their mini. deposit is $250.
Hosting $30 per month?
I will probably go with Vultr for both my LP and Tracker (if I am using prosper202 or cpvlab)
My goal is to allocate my funds cost effectively, giving me the best chance to get a better understanding of 'how things work' , and simplify the setup process.
I dont want to cut corners just to save a few bucks, then notice the reason why it is not working is because my this and that wasn't setup properly etc.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I'm a bit confused.. What are you looking for exactly? One of your recent posts states you are doing $XXXX on Facebook. What are you using for tracking now? What are you using for hosting?
Your budget will last for 4-5 hours.
Blocking bad placements and finding a winning source / geo / vertical / offer / creatives / lander combo will take a budget of 10-20k in a small geo, if you know what you're doing.
I personally recommend funnelflux, they are pretty easy to use with a lot of nice tool for optimizing your funnel.
Note: if you're using
Skin/Nutra or Insurance on Native are going to be extremely tough to do on your budget thanks to the high payouts (see http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...e-Often-Better). Even if you're massively careful with your money, you'll probably only have enough budget for 10-15 campaigns at most, which isn't really enough.
I'd strongly recommend going for something with lower payouts - sweeps on mobile would spring to mind - and working up to native once you have a larger budget.
@hangman - yes, that's a much better combination. You'll still need to be CAREFUL with your funds - $1000 is a really minimal amount to get started with - but you stand a much better chance.
Also, if I do want to start with natives, which vertical would i have the highest opportunity to succeed at the beginning.
I understand that loosing money at the beginning is a common thing, but I still want to recoup some of the revenue for me to continue testing etc.
so with $1000 budget (as a start), which one would you guys suggest attempting? native or pops?
