PPV to generate leads for offline businesses
Anyone here uses pops to generate targeted leads for offline clients?
For example, i have a chiropractor client (offline client) looking for more leads to expand his business.
What if I use pop to target keywords such as chiropractor, his competitors website etc.
P.S: I am a newbie at pops/ppv, so let me know if this makes sense. Thanks in advance.

in theory it should work, but i doubt you will get very much traffic targeting local business sites on ppv

Yeah, that would be my thought.
FB, Adwords, Reddit, even display would spring to mind for local lead gen more than pops.
Having said that, it will depend to some extent on which city you're in. NYC or LA? Maybe. Somewhere smaller, probably not.

PPV works great for offline businesses in the ppcall space, but you need to bundle clients or have clients with national coverage to get volume.

Thanks for the input guys.
Just thinking a little outside the box here. I understand its hard to generate local targeted leads for Chiropractor. (I guess its because PPV platforms dont have city-based targeting?)
But what about getting leads for services such as web development? seo services?
I would assume I will then target competitors website, moz, searchengineland etc.?
Update: I have never done PPC (pay per call), how does that work for services like web development, seo etc. It would be great if you can give some examples.

Ah, this is very different from a chiropractor. Yes, many people are using PPV for web builders like wix and web.com.

Can you please elaborate?
Are they promoting Wix & Web.com as affiliate, or are they promoting their own development services?
Thx in advance.

Zero Park does GEO targeting down to the city - although you must make sure you target correctly via keywords etc. I've seen conversions from broad type PPcall services - Pay day loans, dating etc - It could work for local, you'll need to test

Hey Hangman,
As a traffic source with experty in pop's I don't think it will work. Pop's are aggressive way of advertising and you need to know where your lead come from to do the optimizations as needed.
Hence, if you are still thinking in doing branding to a business with pop's, the best way to go will be to run on RON with minimum bids (like remnant traffic lets say) for some period of time and see if there is increase in the amount of clients.
Good luck!

Thank you for confirming that this can work, do you know how to track which sources or KW's are actually bringing in calls?
