My first mobile campaign - road to $XX/day (3)

Hi everybody, I am looking for a little advice on how to continue. I've been reading the forum for the past 2 months, I've read a lot, but as you all know it's never enough until you actually try it and bump your head into all the problems that arise.

Goal is to make a campaign has positive ROI and increase the volume after that to achieve a decent $xx/day.

I've followed this tutorial mostly, by Caurmen , though I'm using Avazu instead of Go2Mobi for the simple fact that they accept paypal.

So, let's get into it, I'll try to keep this short so people reading it don't get bored half way through

Tools I got: Voluum for tracking, BoxofAds for spying.
Traffic source : Avazu

Offer : 360 Security - Antivirus boost - free android install
Geos and Payout : UK - $0.66 , RO - $0.10, PH - $0.14

So, what I did next, I've created 5 campaigns in avazu like this:

- 1 campaign for UK with 13 quite different and random banners 320X50
- 1 campaign for RO with 4 different 320x50 banners
- 1 campaign for RO with 4 different 300x250 banners
- 1 campaign for PH with 3 different 320x50 banners
- 1 campaign for PH with 3 different 300x250 banners

All of the campaigns with pretty much the same settings
- daily budget $20, hourly budget $2 app/site daily budget $2. Bid price CPM started with 0.3, grew to 0.5 now at $1( for the UK geo, lower for the rest).
- For targeting each country in particular, android only, 2g/3g/4g and wifi
- Device type - phone

Results - > quite bad see for yourselves :



So as you can see, for UK no conversions. For Ro, 25 conversions, however I spent $20 and made back $2.5 so not ideal and PH, I think I should drop entirely.


Now, I have a lot of questions and I am not sure where the problem is, so if anyone can give some good advice that would be welcomed:

- Is the offer good? Is it bad and should I simply switch to something with higher payouts?
- Could it be that my banners are bad? They're completely different one from another all with different angles, and there are 13 of them for the UK offer, could it be that they are that bad?
- Are my settings bad, should I filter stuff out or in?
- Is my approach wrong?
- And how should I proceed? Cut UK and PH and try to do something with RO, even though the payout is that small?

Any and all advice is welcomed, I can post the banners too if someone wants to take a look, I just didn't want to take up too much space in my first post.

Thank you, definitely looking to learn as well, I think I will just pause the UK and PH campaigns for now and concentrate on the RO one seeing I haven't received any better advice will update with how this is going.
