Adwill - Anyone Running With Adwill?

What's happening with them now?

04-26-2016 10:18 AM #2 triangle (Member)

They had severe traffic issues this month and site was down for maintenance . I have asked for refund of leftover funds. I suggest you not to start there at this time. until they're back up running.

I only went with Alex's post here

Typically, volumes have been up and down but you pay on performance; and campaigns don't require management since the algorithm does the buying, testing, and optimization for you.

Now we are working on something new...volume will be back up for STMers when the new product is announced.

I have also asked for refund of balance credit and Aarlo replied that it will take 10% fees and the refund will be done in the end of next month, i.e. 1st June.

I asked for a refund a few days back. Haven't got any reply yet.

Another Traffic Source gone like decisive did. Kinda sad.

Hi Aarlo! Any idea on the timeframe for that to happen please? I haven't even had a chance to spend my initial deposit yet...

Adwill is not going away like Decisive. Decisive took a completely different pivot and left the performance game entirely. Adwill will remain a performance based DSP. Right now there is something tasty being cooked up... hint it has to do with affiliates favorite traffic type!

Thanks for the clarification. Much appreciated. Nice to see traffic sources putting some investment back into their platform.

But you never addressed a few questions above. A few members above asked for refunds but either got no reply or promised to get the refund months from now with a 10% witholding fee. Also another mod on here has yet to spend her initial deposit.

Instead your response was [Let us keep your funds], we have something [n]asty "being cooked up".

You still with Adwill? thought you left them

got the same response of refund in June with a 10% deduction. Haven't even spent any money there as they kept rejecting my campaigns with the reason being "these offers don't work well here"

Hey guys, we have been heads-down working on this new product. Please contact me individually on Skype: aarlosf with any questions.

So after months, Adwill is still not ready?

06-18-2016 01:04 AM #14 wannabe (Member)

I got the refund, btw

Working on new stuff. Will announce when ready for STM. I'm gonna be in Berlin next month, talking to everyone doing native. -Aarlo

Anyone been able to get a refund lately?

08-12-2016 12:44 PM #17 vortex (Senior Moderator)

Hi Aarlo! Any updates on progress? Would love to do a test run on your platform sometime!

Looks like they took our money and ran away?

08-16-2016 05:13 PM #19 mindfume (AMC Alumnus)

It does look more and more that this is indeed the case.

After numerous attempts, I received a reply which stated that they are not able to refund me.
No further explanation was provided.
Also no confirmation if they went out of business or not, or if they are working on a relaunch.

I hope that's not the case - was planning on giving it a test with that initial $500 deposit I made a few months back.

I'll see if I could get in touch with Aarlo on skype - will report back.

Well...

Aarlo has been regularly online in STM, I've been checking. 'Last Activity' was also 'Yesterday 05:08 AM'.
And he sure as hell follows this thread.

On Skype he has been offline/invisible since AWE Berlin. And my messages since long before that were already ignored to this day.
So you be the judge!

That explains why alot of my campaigns which were doing xxx profit daily (and had the potential to scale to xxxx) died just all of a sudden.
So not only did they run away with our money, they took our campaigns too.

Really hate to be the whistleblower here, but can you blame me for smelling the BS?

ps: Did anyone even meet him in Berlin?

Thanks talez - appreciate your sharing your experiences!

I'm not going to hold my breath here. If I get to use that deposit that would be great, if not - shit happens and when you test new networks, there's always a risk that you won't get what you pay for.

I do hope they'll eventually get back to everyone though - whether it be with good news that the platform is ready for use again, or the offer to refund remaining balances...

Hey guys, Adwill is closed to the public right now and paused the self-serve.

Hundreds of media buyers have made xxx - xx,xxx daily on the network. Working on new things now and will keep the community in the loop with updates. There is some powerful auto-optimization technology that we are working on using on something bigger.

Email hello@adwill.co if you have questions on your account or want a refund, and we will deal with you individually. If no one responded yet, just hold tight. Thanks.

Aarlo

Thanks aarlosf - appreciate the update! Will sit tight then until further notice. I've heard good things about Adwill and look forward to running some tests once your platform is ready.

Thanks again - and please do keep us posted on progress!

I'm still trying to get my balance refunded.
Have sent in a new request and will keep this thread updated.

08-19-2016 08:29 AM #26 gia_pck (Member)

Will there be some desktop traffic available there, or mobile only? Thanks.

08-22-2016 10:46 AM #27 pandurrrbear (AMC Alumnus)

Contacted Aarlo on Skype and emailed support for a refund. Haven't yet received a reply.

08-22-2016 01:21 PM #28 mindfume (AMC Alumnus)

Still haven't received my refund.

Got a reply, but no confirmation if/when the refund will be executed.

08-22-2016 01:32 PM #29 olorin (AMC Alumnus)

Didn't get a reply yet from hello@adwill.co

08-23-2016 06:49 PM #30 mindfume (AMC Alumnus)

Still no sign of the refund.

Have politely asked again.

09-09-2016 07:52 PM #31 olorin (AMC Alumnus)

Any update ?

I have also been requesting a refund for several months now without any response. I'm not sure why Adwill is ruining their own reputation if they really intend to reopen for business at some point.

09-19-2016 12:52 PM #33 gooddrewman (Member)

I have been waiting for a refund also.

09-21-2016 07:14 AM #34 machix (Member)

That's a really a pity. I've ran adwill before way back and to be honest, they are pretty decent until they start changing a lot of stuff on their platform. Not responsive, especially on money matters, certainly does not bode well for a network/TS.

So it's money down the drain eh?
