Hey guys I'm new here so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I'm just getting into the world of affiliate marketing in the adult industry, new territory for me this side of the fence lol...
ahem.
So I have a domain and server and I wanted to copy a landing page now I've done some research on whether its getting some good traffic. I found some software called HT Track that copies complete websites to your computer with the html files.
But when i come to upload it to my server in cpanel in the public html and then visit my site I'm getting an 404 error message.
I'm uploading the index.html file. But what I wanted to know is there some settings in HT track that will allow the site and links to be viewed online or can someone recommend a better way of copying landing pages and uploading them to my server.
Thanks in advance!!
I would google 'how to use httrack', and i would contact your hosting company to make sure your server is upgraded to the latest and greatest
Typically with HTTrack you are copying the the identical folder/file path as the site you were copying it from. Make sure that the path is right in the URL destination as what is copied into your FTP and you should be ok. I see a lot of new guys making this mistake often with HTTrack
