What Banner CTR to aim for (sweeps)

Hi

I'm new to AM and starting out in mobile display, specifically sweeps.

I'm trying to figure out what's a reasonable CTR% for offers like winning and iphone 6 or galaxy S7 etc... Or even those "You can win a holiday" offers.

The issue is when making my own banners I don't know whether they are good or not since I don't have a baseline number I can compare them to.

If I could get an idea on what kind of numbers I should aim for it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

It depends on many factors. The traffic source, the ad size, the country, the targeting.

If I were you I would invest in a spy tool like adplexity and test some of the most popular ads you see running there. Use them as them as a benchmark.

This is the best advice you can get, really. Adplexity isnt cheap but it will save you a ton of time and frustration. You simply need to get the benchmark data and testing some proven creatives is the best way to get it fast.
