PopAds GEO restrictions (5)

PopAds GEO restrictions

We faced an issue that top geos in PopAds are hidden from us.

USA, UK, Canada, Australia... maybe some others, but I checked these for sure.

When I contacted their support they said that they can not open these geos to us as "customers from your country, on average, cause trouble much more often than other customers." WTF??!! Really??!!

PopAds has been a go to traffic source to us so far, we spent 8K with them, referred an active member, never had any issues with our campaigns.

Support rep seems to be not polite and not helpful at all with such statements.

We planned to test new offers in the UK but right now there is a wish to find a new favourite source and not to deal with this bu****it.

Anybody had such issues with PopAds? Have you managed to solve them?

I hear that this happens to people from Russia and similar geos. I remember it happened to one of my friends who is an experienced affiliate. Try to be nice with them and find a workaround - maybe offer them more options of verification like ID and promise of high spends, however its quite strange as you mentioned you were referred and spent 8k, its doesn't make much sense. Were those geo's disabled for you since you join them first time?

Hey Erik
Not sure if they were available before as we run only in tier 3 countries.
But another support rep contacted me yesterday, she seem to be more client oriented and willing to find a solution.
Hope we'll sort it out.
It seems I was only pissed off with the "customers from your country" label

Same shit happened to me cuz I am from Russia Funny thing that after creating account I was only allowed running for about 10 tier 3 countries, not even tier 2. I sent them screenshots with spendings from other networks and, of course, shot out to MrBraun, who also said a word for me and, finally, they opened everything except US, Canada and UK.

When this happens, its super annoying and even offending to any honest affiliate, but that's how it is in this world. Its a simple fact, that a higher % of fraudsters come from certain countries - eastern europe in particular. I had to deal with this problem a lot in the past, but usually all it took was to provide the right references. So build them up and hand them over in case of a similar problem. Usually the word of an AM from another known traffic source or affiliate network does wonders
