Impression tracking with exoclick? (5)

Hi

I'm trying to add Exoclick as a traffic source in Voluum, and i have the option to check "impression tracking" ,it says "Traffic source marked with this flag can be used to track impressions."
does this work because i don't see any option to track impressions when i go to exoclick? i can only add the campaign url.

Oh and another thing, does {variation_id} track each banner or do i need to add a custom token for that?

The tokens have to be part of the url you use for the banners. What do you use for tracking? The link format is different for every tracker.

Impressions tracking is useless, because you will receive clicks from them, not impressions - so even tho every click will come with the impression price it doesnt tell you anything about the amount of impressions you actually paid for. You will have to adjust the price per click in your tracking, but the numbers will never be 100% accurate, its not possible.

i am using Voluum, i was thinking of adding a "bannerid" custom token and changing the value in the url for every banner, then i saw {variation_id} in exoclick, it seems to do the same thing.

Yup, use the variation_id token from exo, every banner you upload is assigned a unique ID and they will pass it to you, works like a charm
