Finally my first campaign is running
Hello everybody!
after quite a long struggle (they suspended my first campaign the exact day when I was about to activate it), I am finally live with the new one.
Is always an App Install (UC Banner - India).
I don't have any expectation on the economic result of this campaign - app is really owned by anyone in India - but I am using this to understand every part of the flow.
I made a set of banners based on 3 different angles:
- browsing speed
- browser video feature
- "join other 100M users that have already downloaded this app"
banners are really homemade
(you can see them here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tr2hxkh3t...QMBKaEkIa?dl=0)
I made a very simple setup to start, linking Addiliate and Go2Mobi with offer link and postback and gathering results drilled by creative, os, placement and carrier. [At the moment I see statistics on Go2Mobi but not in Addiliate, waiting for my AM to assist me on that]
Now I'm figuring out how to integrate Funnel Flux. I have completed installation on my VPS, now is time to set it up.
First results are following the expectations (here attached), but... the journey is what matters!

do you guys have any advice on this?
thanks a lot

Hey shark, keep up the good work!
If i had any advice it would be to rip banners from spying and using them as templates and once your ROI isnt too deep in the red start doing adjustments. But theres not enough data yet to say much.
btw whats the payout ?
Good luck with everything ill be following !

thanks a lot for your support abyss. I really appreciate.
I'll try to rip banners from spying but first results are so horrible that I think something gone wrong:
here below the summary of the first 200 clicks:
213 clicks, no conversions, 0,6% CTR
AM swears that is one of the campaings producing the better results in the network and this leave me confused ....
If I don't discover anything wrong in my setup this campaing is a clear NO-GO.
Any suggestion?
thanks a lot

Hmm i think it's still too early to tell since you only have 213 clicks between 6 banners but i do agree the CTR doesnt look good. Only thing i can think of that would influence that is your banner designs itself and/or the angles. I suggest coming up with different creatives daily and split testing them.
Apart from that you are learning at an impressive pace since you started and soon youll be dishing out complete campaigns ! Imitation is key here when we are just fledgling affiliates, so no shame in using other people's workflows until you get to the greens first.
You should also be asking your AM for help and constantly be looking for other traffic sources(But i think it might be too early for this.), affiliate networks(for other offers in your vertical to compare with your own offer.) But since you're AM is telling you it's performing well then there's no way some people out there are not succeeding with it. Plus he shouldnt have a reason to lie to you since he doesnt get anything out of that.. atleast i cant think of any lol.
Keep it up my man we all gon make it one day

Hm, I thought UCweb is an old campaign, AM is swearing cause UC has lots of money to waste now and the CPA network has an agreement with them about certain budgets. There are lots of other campaigns to make money on now, please dig deeper!
And I love your attitude and I think that you will succeed some day, good job!

hello everybody,
while I wait for the approval of my new set of banner (I decided I will invest 20$ more, just to be sure that it wasn't 100% my banners fault) I launched a second and quite different campaing.
Still on Go2Mobi.
Campaing offers a smartphone for free if you sign-up for a subscription that costs 2€ month for 2 months. You can cancel after 2months and still get your phone.
Let's see if this brings some better results.
First conversion is being done directly by a friend of mine interested in the offer
. It shows up in addiliate but not in go2mobi yet.
I'll let you know, thanks a lot for your support

Hi sharkeuino? How did you connect Addilaite with Go2Mobi? I tried but didn't know how to change Addilaite URL which is not CAKE into CAKE url.
Good luck!

Yes, for them maybe, or for affiliates who cloack it to death

Forget about these general app installs, they are around for years, and they certainly wont work for you anymore
Ask for sweeps or PIN submit offers in cheap geos and test those.
BTW: those banners in the dropbox link are the ones you used?

No wonder they didnt bring any results, its more like clipart logos and not banners. There is no message on them, no CTA ... To get a better idea about what can work, try to rip some banners for your new campaign.
Good luck

mate 2 things
1) could you explain me in simple words, what world mean with "sweeps" and "pin submits"?
2) about my banners, you entered the banner folders or you just looked at the images in the first folder?
thanks a lot, as always

hey bnvltd!
I am still not really sure that this is the best way but this is what I did and it partially works (partially because the conversion still doesnt show up in go2mobi)
you take the offer link from addiliate "get url" inside your campaing.
It will be something like :
https://www.addiliate.com/redirect.h...6D&cr=69RM6KAP
you add at the end the get request with the parameters you want to track. In my case:
https://www.addiliate.com/redirect.html?ad=PF3HNQ6D&cr=69RM6KAP&add1={clicki d}&add2={crid}&add3={Os}&add4={pln}&add5={isp}
add1 to add5 are the variables used by addiliate for the tokens,
In go2mobi you get the postback link.
you have to add the other variables in the same way. My postback is:
http://pb.g2trk.com/pb/?api_key=RkFH...carrier=%add5%
first setup of the pixel (postback) in addiliate must be done by an AM

1: sweeps are those offers where users get the chance to win something, iphones are the most popular. Pin submits are "carrier billing offers", where the user agrees to get billed for something by the network operator - for example antivirus offers or video content or games ... ask your AM for some, they will definitely have plenty to use.
2: You're right, I didnt open the folder and just looked at the preview images, my bad. But still, these app installs work better with clear button-like CTAs. I cant read the language on the banners so cant comment on the angles
