So I just had my first FB ads account banned... (8)
But here's how it happened
I was promoting an offer for shoes. JustFab. All of the images I had sent to run in a new campaign, had been approved for previous campaigns, and all of them are of some snazzy looking shoes.
Of the 4 ads I sent in, all of which were pointing to the same offer page, 3 got approved, and a 4th did not.
I went to check my email, got the ads approved emails for the first 3, and then got the ad disapproved for the 4th, and then got an email saying my ad account had been banned, here's the reason for the disapproved ad:
The content promoted in this ad is not permitted on Facebook. We reserve the right to choose the advertisements that appear on the site, and ads for this product or service should not be resubmitted. Please visit our Help Center for more specific information.
And here's the ban hammer email:
Hi,
Facebook will not tolerate behavior that users may find annoying or abusive, or that violates our Terms of Use or Advertising Guidelines. You have used the account associated with singh4.Manindra@gmail.com to submit ads that are explicitly prohibited by our ad policies. As a result, your account has been permanently disabled.
We will not be able to reactivate your account, nor will you be able to recover any content within the account. You will also not be permitted to create a new account to restart your Facebook advertising. This decision is final.

Even though they approved 3 of the EXACT SAME ads with the only thing different being the image of SHOES. I had 3 or 4 other ads disapproved besides this one in the past for the most annoying, trivial reasons while they approved all other exact same ads, is that really all it takes to get your ads account banned?
welcome to facebook.....only thing I can think is that those images were reported/flagged in someway before....
Facebook knows you were shipping those shoes with crack hidden in the shoe soles. LOL jk but did you have any other ads in the past? I don't see how FB could complain about a shoe campaign but those guys are pretty stupid over there. Try making another account and let us know how it goes if oyu want to go down that route.

If they really ban people at whim, I'm pretty sure you've done something like that, that warrant a ban too, with all the tests you run :P

wait nevermind, i had an inactive account get banned a few weeks ago.. sorry no help here.
I had my account banned today, because I had 3 accounts. Facebook is defently cracking down.
Or because you kept uploading true.com ads? :P
