Yes.
Nope. I know tons of guys doing 100% whitehat doing $2-5k/day and even a few doing $10k+/day. Sure you're going to have to do alot of optimizing but you can do it.
Cloaking just allows you to make ridiculous ROI without having to be good at marketing. In fact, some of the biggest guys I know, started out blackhat, made a bunch of money, then went white. I think it's a decent strategy
Of course not.
Whitehat is where it's at.
No. Just focus on marketing, its easier.
Had $20k+ days on native without cloaking. I have also cloaked plenty of times. It's circumstantial. Like with other parts of affiliate marketing it's dog eat dog. So if you're pushing the same nutra offer everyone else is, cloaking is a way to increase your competetive advantage. Cloaking also removes the whole approvals issue of having to constantly change small things on your lander to stay compliant, so cloaking can be a real time saver if you look at it that way. However you might lose your accounts constantly of course. It's circumstantial
For me personally, if i were promoting any random offer from MaxBounty, Clickbooth or w/e i'd most likely cloak & pillage. However other private offers and stuff that i run there is no need to cloak because me and the client can work together to make it compliant & profitable. No competition + slightly less shady products can be a real gold mine.
Native feels like the new "pops and mobile" bandwagon for the STM horde this year. So everyone and their grandmothers are launching stuff on RevContent, and the dog eat dog will go on. While some people are still killing it on mobile+pops and will continue to do so, as is the case with native.
People making millions with cloaking: Definitely

Depends what kind of game you're up for. Cloaking ( as mentioned by MrClean ) usually gives you higher ROI, cause you know, that shit that just converts but is pure bullshit and breaking a lot of guidelines / rules / laws... Whitehat on the other allows more scalability ( and yes I know people cloaking can scale too, but I hope everybody gets what I mean ).
If I was starting out nowadays, and this applies not just to Nutra offers or Native or whatever, but pretty much to everything in terms of AM, I'd probably focus to make shit work first.
Unless you know a vertical in and out it makes little sense to focus on cloaking. Gotta cover what pays the bill first, then think about how to squeeze more. Not like if you're a beginner cloaking will bring you to 10k a day instantly, especially not because you won't be able to cloak properly. Sometimes I feel people put so much attention to cloaking and how others cloak that they forget what brings the cash in at very first...
honestly, I am running it white hat with pretty good results, but I still consider to cloak it to hide my prelanders from spying tools. Really tired of people copying 100% of my ads/prelanders. Of course most of us are copying, but at least you usually do some adjustments and come up with improved variant of lander your ripped off. I hope you do guys
nope.. im white hat on there... good relationship with my ad manager and doing decent numbers. building the damn blacklist is a pain!
Hi everyone.
New here but been playing around the native space for a while. Is everyone going towards revcontent mostly now or are some of the other NANs also producing good results?
You can make money with cloaking and without cloaking. Depends on the offer. Im moreso a fan of whitehat nowadays so i dont cloak anymore
