The other natives just seem to link to other similar pages... so are they just trying to make money from the display ads on the pages, or am I missing something. Thanks
So I think probably they are just charging CPM on the display banners, so they get users into the network of pages, by shared posts on facebook for example, then once on a page they click round the web of other natives and each time they serve impressions which they are charging for.... Sound right?
For the most part, yes.
Part of the links are for the purpose of trading traffic, part of the links are sold via native ad networks.
