Looking for a mastermind group for investing and increasing private deal flow (5)

I'm not even sure this is the right place for this, but I'll give it a shot.

I've been in performance marketing since 2007 and have had a lot of fun and success making stacks off the old internet. I sold out of my company end of 2015 and now I'm looking to financially help out some up and coming entrepreneurs in exchange for equity. I'm especially excited in platform based technology plays and physical product distribution. What I'm not looking to do is give out straight cash to help buy more traffic to sling some brain pills and flashlights.

Is anyone else currently doing this, I'd love to pick your brain and share what I've learned about investing.

I am looking at it, but I feel the deals are like third tier traffic. Everyone's picked out the good stuff for themselves and have left the scraps the plebs. I want to get closer to where the deal happens, not 2 or 3 steps removed.
