When to migrate to a Dedicated from a VPS?

Currently I'm running on a managed VPS with some litespeed upgrades, costing me around $75~ a month.

I'm doing approximately around 200k - 300k traffic a day so far. I've checked with my hosting providing about upgrading to a dedicated, and they mentioned so far I've not came close to hitting or stressing out the servers at all.

That said, should I wait till the hosting mention I'm starting to stress it out, or should I migrate waaay before that?

Thanks!

Not an expert in this field but think of it like this... 86,400 seconds in a day... If you're doing 300,000 hits a day then that's less than 3.5 hits a second. Granted it won't be a constant stream and there'll be hours where you get more hits than others but that doesn't sound like much to me.

This is what you need to focus at, what are the top hours and how much traffic can the server handle in a single moment. Its important that the server doesnt slow down at any given moment. Im no server expert either so I will ask someone who is to chime in
