Exoclick Funding (13)

Exoclick Funding

What do most people use to fund their Exoclick accounts? Especially for new advertisers.

Right now the only available options are:
Paypal - Not available yet until some good account funding history. But weird that my initial deposit done via Paypal was allowed.
Credit card via Paypal - not available for the above obvious reason.
Wire transfer - Takes 5 business days to credit to your account!
Paxum - Not accepting credit card, only wire transfer (3 business days) and secured check.

It seems that they're not giving any viable options for new advertisers. Wire transfer? How do you make it work with waiting 5 business days each time?
Paxum is no different since credit cards not allowed, only more fees to pay.

Are there any alternatives that actually make sense?
What kind of funding history do they require in order to allow Paypal payments?

Wires are usually done within 24 hours with exoclick. Some as quick as 8 hours! If you show some spending history they'll increase your PayPal limit too. I usually wire and then usually PayPal if I'm away due to the convenience of not having to login into bank.

Thanks mykeyfocus.
But I sent 1 wire, it took 4 business days to credit to my account (they say it's usually 5). Not sure how to speed it up.
This is crazy.

And may I ask, what kind of spending history are they looking for before even enabling Paypal payments?

Hmmm maybe the speed of wire approval is based on spending history. As for how much you need to spend to get PayPal payments I'm not sure - I thought they allowed it for everyone and just limited a certain threshold monthly - just drop them a support ticket and ask

Must be a new thing regarding paypal, I used it to deposit since day one, tho there was always a monthly limit of $2000 for new advertisers.

Now I use wires, since I spend a lot with them and I send enough to cover about 2 weeks of ad spend, when I see there is only a few days left, I send another wire. There is one thing you need to do in order to get it added as fast as possible, you need to contact the support and tell them a wire was sent - did you do that?

Did you contact support regarding CC funding? Maybe there is some way to get them to allow this for you.

Yeah I did, they only told me some good spending history needed. Nothing specific even though I asked.

Did those too, had alot of back and forth with them. No luck.

Guess there's nothing I can do, other than perhaps wiring higher amounts each time.
Only thing worrying is they may ban/suspend accounts for stupid reasons, as I've read here: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...unt-suspension

You just need to speak with them. Of course they need some spend history to see if you are serious, every traffic source with decent quality is like this. The best traffic sources only accept wires.

Send them a ticket with wire info as soon as you send the wire and do this from Monday-Wednesdays, so there are at least 2 bizz days until they get the wire. Use Paypal mostly for when you are waiting for the wire to get credited to your account.

After the first or second wire you can ask for your Paypal limit to be upped to 5k, then 10k and so on.

If you keep a good relationship with them you can even get an account manager with a spend of only 15k/month. They usually require 20-30k/month for this.

Regards,

Why people would use anything besides paxum if there is the option is beyond me. Sure credit cards are nice, but the 2% fees are not for the traffic sources...

No every one has to pay those fees

I usually dont have to pay fees for CC funding, paypal is another story, that can become pretty expensive Paxum is a good option buts its not really known outside of the adult world

Sorry I meant for the traffic sources themselves. I think paxum is best for both parties, and therefor should get a discount % over credit card payments, even though some traffic sources ask the same deposit fees for creditcard and paxum.
I've asked several traffic sources about this and for a discount with paxum payments, but usually they won't budge, which causes me to pay with my credit card to rack up some points.

You asking why? They banned my new account without any reason. And they don't even tell me why. I did only one transaction to exo and that's all. Stupid system i ever seen with outdated interface.
