Seems like good news, but this could be a little worrying in general:
"That is simply because, although you are now allowed to use images with more than 20% text, Facebook will penalise you for doing so.
In fact you ad can now fall into 1 of 4 categories:
Image text: OK – you ad image contains little or no text
Image text: Low – your ad’s reach may be slightly limited
Image text: Medium – your ad’s reach may be limited
Image text: High – you may not reach your audience"
"May be slightly", "Limited" and "May not" are sort of vague terms, aren't they? Hope FB posts some more detailed explanations on that.

@shishev this must mean they're subjecting the images to some OCR? Create text in captcha style and it could bypass these filters?

I sure hope it's some simple OCR man, captcha style text bypassing sounds awesome haha, I'll probably even test this out! Though these FB guys have been known to be
almost as crafty as us marketers I'm sure we'll be able to figure out a whole number of ways around this as usual.
