When creating a custom Audience with websie visitors ie (people who visit web page, url contains...)
How frequently does this audience update itself?
Once. When you upload your website visitor list.
Under Audiences Tab next to my custom audience is has 2 columns "date created" and "date updated"
The custom audience is linked to the fb pixel which is installed on the URL i am using to capture my audience.
Date updated is todays dateand date created is the 27th therefore it must be updating this audience list automatically as new visitors visit the URL.
So how often does fb update this audience list? Is it a live update as in FB updates it in real time, or is it done daily? Does anyone have anymore information on this?
If it is a customer list audience - e.g. a CSV upload, then obviously once.
If it is via pixel data it is updated constantly - usually you see front-end updates every 2-24 hours.
The pixel audience data however does update very regularly. Otherwise near-instant product remarketing ads would not be possible.
I imagine Lookalike audiences based on these data sources are at a slower rate, e.g. every 24 h, and they presumably change over time with active ads (so you don't need to relaunch ads constantly for lookalike audiences if the audience source is changing over time).
