From my experience - it depends on what you are directlinking to. I was directlinking to the app store/ google play without any problem. I have been directlinking to e-shops etc ... without any problem. They care about the "user experience" and judge the destination url based on that, if it lacks any value and there is just an email collection box, then no, you cannot direct link this and they will happily ban you for this if it repeats. If you want to directlink to a site that has content and appears like a site, it should be no problem. Google actually doesnt want you to use landers/bridge pages at all, they are the happiest when they can send traffic to real sites.

To add to Matulooo's comments, yes your fine DL'ing BUT cross your fingers after spending your time setting up the campaign and hope the advertisers final URL has't already been flagged as 'site suspended'.

A high number of advertisers have been!

If so, you'll have to backtrack and create a lander that will pass approvals!

Easy question, easy answer

- If your campaign is in line with Google's T&C --> direct linking is OK. Your ad will get approved
- If your campaign is NOT in line with Google's T&C --> direct linking is not OK and your add will not get approved. You'll need to cloak to a T&C compliant offer in order to get approved

Not quite as simple as that.

I'm pretty sure Google has an internal blacklist of affiliate tracking domains they don't like. If one of those is in your redirect path, and you haven't got much account history, then your account may get banned, irrespective of whether the offer is within Google's T&C's.
