FB Update - Price Increase ?

Hey,

anyone else saw an increase on prices from FB?

For us it started roughly around last thursday and went downhill from there.

We have been researching the API but there is no announcement for changes in the LOG.

Thanks and Cheers

Yeah,
I have also noticed raise in fb costs, no idea why

I'll get our FB buyer to confirm details but he mentioned last week an algo change based around text in image ratio (something about no longer enforcing max 20% rule but instead impacting costs)

I wonder if that could be the cause?

Hey,

Let me know when he confirmed.

From my standpoint, I dont think so. We rarely if ever use Text in Images and our cost increased at least 20-30% easily.

Cheers

They hint at raising global click prices in last years fillings to manipulate quarterly results. Could be a move.

I KNEW IT!
My cost per conversion went from $0.60 to $8...excuse my french but that's fucking bullshit.

I'm seeing 100% CPM increase on desktop newsfeed. I've been experimenting more with larger targets. I'm able to get a lower CPM and after a few days, the optimization algo makes it work. Other than that, I'm having better luck on mobile... Nothing I'm advertising ever works on mobile...

I'm not seeing anything change on mobile app install campaigns.

usually takes a couple days - two weeks or so before prices settle back from end of Q's inflated prices.
