Simple question...
At this point.. I still dont know what I will be promoting..
I am still following the beginner guides and am buying the requirements.
When i tried buying beyond hosting.. its asking me to give a domain.
So the question is.. lets say I decide to promote free iphones and for that buy the domain iphonegiveaway.com but a week down the line now want to promote free wall mart gift card... does this mean I will have to keep buying a domain each time for different landing pages based on the product?
You could register a generic domain name that covers a vertical broadly.
As examples:
You're promoting sweepstakes, instead of registering iphonegiveaway.com register something more broad like customer-rewards.com or dailygiveaways.com
Also you could use sub domains like iphone.dailygiveaways.com or giftcard.dailygiveaways.com
It doesn't matter that much though according to this thread: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...=domain+matter
Hello,
You don't need to have the product type in your domain name.If a prospective client is interested in what you have to offer they will click on it irrespective of the name.As mentioned above if you want you can try a generic domain name which includes a wide range of products in that category.
