I was recently followed up by a box of ads rep who I met with in Vegas to sign up for their service, we negotiated pricing a bit and we came to an agreement, after I signed up (less than 24 hours after) I realized that I was only getting access to the display moudle and not for both display and PPV, so I basically requested (nicely, stating that the misunderstanding was on my part) to cancel the subscription ( I paid 3 months in advance-$450) so the account manager tells me:
" No we had a deal"
Now if we had went to court I probably would have lost, but really ? This is how you conduct business? I am telling you I don't want to use your service and your'e making me on a technicality ? I filed a paypal dispute which was denied as I didn't provide enough information or something like that, so now I have this 3 month subscription, Boxofads made $450+ this post written and this story told by me to anyone asking me about spy tools. Really don't understand this behavior.
So heads up if your'e considering Boxofads
Just to add on, with boxofads, you are not able to rip landers. its not worth it for the price.
Sorry to hear about that treatment. Good thing we have channels to vent frustrations like these. And yea BoA is overpriced as stated above.
lol more like boxofshit
I had a similar situation a few weeks back, they contacted me offering a deal on their whole package for $99/month (ppv/native/display), so thought i would have a look as i hadn't used them for years.
A couple of days before subscription was due to renew, i cancelled (by clicking the cancel subscription button in my account) because its still a load of shit!
Thought nothing more of until reviewing my card statement and noticed that second payment had been taken.
Logged in to the account and it shows that im on the basic package for $99/month.
So basically i cancelled one subscription and they auto converted me to another (a lesser one for the same price)
Contacted them and they denied it, saying that i didn't cancel the subscription and was just trying it on.. Emails went back and forth until now they just ignore me.
Fu*king Cu*ts!
Reminds me i need to contact Amex and set a claim in motion.
Looks like as they can't keep up with the other spy services out there, they are resorting to ripping people off.
