Follow Along On PPC Campaign

Hello Everyone,

I was doing 500+ A day On PPC Now my campaign has went down to 100$ A day.

My Plan Is To Split Test Up To 5-6 Angles and 3 (15-18 Total) Ads For Each Angle Until I can bring my campaign Back Up to 500+ A day. IF not I will be Moving on to the next offer.

I will be Testing 1 New Angle and 3 New Ads A day.

I will Spend Approximately 100$ Per Ad To See If its Profitable.

I am not going to cut placements(Until I Start Seeing A trend Of A keyword Not Converting On 2-3 Different Angles), because I know that a good Ad + Angle Combo Will convert on non related Keywords.

New Angle Tested Today 100$ Spend, Ad 1 Had 2.4% CTR, Ad 2 Had .4 CTR. So Paused Ad 2 and let Ad 1 Run.
90 Clicks To Ad 1 No Conversions Paused That Ad and Now. I will run a new angle Tomorrow.

5 Angles Left To Go To Find A 200-300$ A day Campaign.

Looking For Insights from Affiliate Who Has Done 1k A day on Search, What Was one thing you did that took your campaign to the next level.

Weird, My campaign Fluctuates Daily. Today I'm at 360$ Profit, Yesterday I was Only at 100$.

The Thing With My Campaign is that It Breaks Even, and I only profit if Customers Buy Upsells.

Created A New Ad For A group of highly targeted Keywords. Profited $250 Today From That. Search Lost -100$. Syndicated +70$. Reminder to Not run search on Sundays.

Re running my Old Campaign, I was networking with some Bing Marketers, and I found out that it's normal For Profit To Jump Daily From $500 to $100 On Bing. Will Let you know how the old campaign is performing. If it doesn't do well, I will change the offer. And If that Doesn't Work I will try to improve the Ad + Headline A Little bit.

Campaign hit 1k a Day on sunday, then dropped to 0 Today.

Will run again for 1 more day to see what's happening.

If it's unprofitable 2 days in a row I will test new Ads + Landers & lower Bids.

Is this adwords/bing ? I guest is must be adwords right ?

buddy is it adwords or bing ? because since last google adwords update of ad result thers is a issue with low ad rank..like they remove the right side ads so if your ads is showing in bottom then you will not get good numbers of clicks.

Damn I realized the biggest mistake I have been making in Affiliate Marketing is Cutting Ads/Placements/Landers and Angles way too early.

Campaign is finally doing some solid numbers. Success comes slow guys, You won't go from 0-$1,000 a day instantly. You make slow consistent progress.
My Daily routine

1. Read 30Mins on Affiliate Marketing, STM, CharlesNgo, MalanDariss, Finch,
2. 30mins Write Out My Goal and Think About My Campaign.
3. 30mins Spy On my Traffic Source, see what's running any changes.
4. 30mins Read about my niche to get ideas, forums, blogs.
5. 30 mins Create 1 New Angle For my Niche
6. 30 Mins Read about copywriting.
6. 30 Mins Improve Ads/Landers On my current Campaign Get it ready to split test after reading.
7. 30 Mins Adjust Bids On Current Campaigns, Find More Related Keywords that Converted on my campaign. Ad more keywords from spyfu/other websites
8. 30 Mins Network with my mastermind, tell them whats workin for me, what I'm currently working on.
9. 30 Mins Learn and Master HTML,CSS, Dreamweaver
10. 30 Mins Launch A Quick Test Campaign On my Traffic Source, What's Already Running.

I Know If I Do this consistently For A Year I will see exponential Growth. Get 1% Better EveryDay.

Uploaded 40k Keywords Into my Campaign.
Im Trying to Aim For a 50% ROI on a 2k Spend.
Currently Testing 2 Angles, 2 Offers.
Want to see which one is doing better and then focus on improving.

I am bidding really aggressively as high as $4 CPCs, Where I see other affiliates running ads on.
Maybe this is a mistake but Live + Learn. =)

I wrote a blogpost for Shoemoney about 3 years ago that talks about all the different ways to spy on search. In general, I trust SEMRush and my own two eyes for most of my competitive research.
Here's the post. http://www.shoemoney.com/2013/06/10/...pc-strategies/

Hola, Buongiorno & Hello

Take what you want from this, it may assist you

I can only assume you are using search with a little of Display

Search campaigns
1. Pull keyword report with a long date range

2. Keyword report to have device and month dimensions with conversion and revenue data to keyword if possible
Then add another column to distinguish what keywords are brand terms and generic for later use

3. Pull report into excel to create a pivot table

4. Organise keywords by spend at first to see where you are leaking investment from keyword with specific match types

5. Once you determine the keyword add to the pivot table the device dimension to see which device you can negative bid on or bid up on for better performing keywords.

6. Take all converting terms and consider whether they need their own campaign and adgroup to be efficient with your investment to push them as hard you can stopping inefficient keywords using up investment. Remember to bid up on device category doing well and down on device category not so well.

7. Those good performing keywords you have to get creative with the copy to increase the CTR to double figures or higher.

The higher the CTR the higher the potential to get a higher conversion rate. There's no real relationship number to acquire conversions from my experience, however make the ads more tightly themed to the keyword and more emotionally driven to get the customer to purchase and how it can solve their problem.

8. When I mention give good performers their own groups, those campaign them and groups to be with their specific match type then negative those keywords from all your other campaigns so no other group get activated by a search except your top performer.

Exact match is hardly exact match the engine will tell you that however that's a load of BS, close variating keywords will activate your exact match which will not be displayed in query reports because of the low click and impression data (They will truncate the data you won't be able to see at times unless you use a tool like adalysis that will search for n-gram data)

To check if that new group get that search use the diagnosis feature which will let you know if it's not showing for searches and use the ad preview tool

9. When giving the terms their campaigns and adgroups place into brand and generic terms so they have their own groups and campaigns. Brands terms tend to be stronger in CTR and conversion rates and you do not want to dilute lower performing terms in the campaign and groups.

10. Continually keep improving the ads to get higher CTR which is themed to your keywords which tends to increase your conversions then your revenue.

11. Remember the reason to place brand and generic terms apart is to see quickly on a top level when you review reporting what's doing well and what's going down a hill quick so you can be pro-active to resolve the issues at the drop of hat.

Hope that gives you some ideas how to improve your situation.
