Hey,
just started our first RevContent Native Campaign. It took 7 days to get approved for 100% white hat stuff.
Now after just being started RevContent charged and reported already 108 clicks while our Trackers are on 18 clicks. Beware guys.
Cheers
In terms of approval times, you need to be a high spender to get those inside of 24hrs.
Revcontent has its fair share of bot traffic (regardless of what the reps will tell you) and you're going to need some deep pockets for testing. When I first ran there about a year back, I distinctly remember blowing about $800 in 2 hours without a single conversion... it's definitely not newbie friendly by any means, but as with any paid traffic, it just about testing.
Word to the wise... don't try and tackle it without at the VERY least a $1-2k budget and expect to get a rough ride while you figure it out. You're going to need to quickly filter out those bad placements and poor converting creatives.
Thanks a ton
Would you recommend any more newbie friendly Native Source? While im not a newbie at the game, were definitely new to native.
Cheers
Approval time is based on your last 7 days spending so you need to build some reputation there and get an account manager who will also speed things up. Most of the traffic is mobile, and yes a lot of filtering to do, but when you find the gold nuggets it will be worth it. Each campaign you want to run set 1 for mobile and 1 for desktop and start witn a low bid (I usually do 0.03 for mobile and 0.05 for Desktop).
Thanks - yeah from the first numbers it looked to be around 70-80% shitty traffic.
Need to find a good way to filter the bots and come back
Cheers
have ads pending for approval since 10th April on a new account
I have gotten a lot of conversions on Rev Content. But it's difficult like others have stated.
Try getting an AM as fast as possible. This will help you a with campaign approvals. Also he can advise you on the placements you need to take out from the start.
