Your experience with Adform?

Hi guys,

We are thinking of start using Adform for all our clients in order to keep track of our display campaigns. Anyone used Adform for tracking? Why would one choose this over Voluum, apart from the hosting capabilities?

I would also appreciate feedback on their DSP.

Thanks,

Jonas

We used it in the past, and it has good points and also some points of improvements.
Side note: we stopped doing all mediabuying ourselves in 2014 as we decided to focus 100% on affiliate marketing and do not want to compete with our +6,500 affiliates.

Good points
- You have access to a lot of premium placements
- You can buy on Appnexus and other big RTB platforms without actually having a seat on these platforms (and paying their huge commissions)
- Very intuitive and easy to set up campaigns
- Good reporting. Lots of data and very detailed
- Their commission has no $$$ minimum like e.g. compared the 10K$ monthly commission with appnexus
- Good payment terms

Bad points:
- You have to pay for uploading (heavy) creatives
- Its impossible to adapt the bids per site so once you have the ROI+ sites after testing you need to create a new campaign every time you wanna have seperate bids on different sites. This is really the most annoying point.
- Hard to get anything profitable for a long period. I have the impression its more for branding than for performance

Since its not expensive I would definitely test it out. We used to have good results with sweepstakes.
