Been running Pay Per Call for a couple of weeks now and have hit a slight road block...
I woke up this morning to a message from Google essentially stating that my sites (i.e. my landing pages) violated their policies because they "don't work". As I understand, google is unhappy that I am linking to one pager sites rather than having a fully fleshed out website (which seems a bit ridiculous given I'm running call-only ads and no one goes to the LP anyway).
Has anyone else encountered this? And is there any way around this? I would rather not have my Adwords account banned...
As long as you have 'About Us' 'T&Cs' 'Privacy Policy' & another page generally about the topic of the site - there shouldn't be much to worry about from my experience.
Google has some pretty clear guidelines on this. I would suggest reviewing them ...
I reviewed the guidelines and amended accordingly a few weeks back. Thanks
Their phone support is generally pretty helpful, I would suggest calling them and just asking what you need to do to fix.
Greetings, gents. I've looked through Google's ad policy. I can't seem to find anything that would be against this offer : [http://www.theictm.org/big-diabetes-lie/]. However, my Bing ads for this offer all got deleted in the most underhanded manner yesterday. That's why I'm looking into using Google Adwords, and want to avoid any issues. Can you tell me if this offer will be OK ? I'm 1 month+ new. Appreciate it !
Bing is looser than adwords, so if you had problem with that offer on bing it s 99.99% sure you ll meet the ban hammer there also, adwords doesn t really like clickbank offer, esp health related, also you d better create a landing first

if the page had claims (page isn't working now) this is another reason why it got blocked. But generally that warning you got i have seen it too, but its based on performance (page not loading) not the content on the site. Just from my experience.
1. Flesh out the site with ToS, Privacy page, About Us, etc. It doesn't matter if they are call only ads and no one will ever see them. Google (Google Adsbot) will.
2. Be careful when relying on Google Adwords support for help. The majority of advertiser calls are handled by interns who have no idea what they are talking about.
