As some of you might remember, we posted a while back about our banner optimisation tool called Perfectbanner.
We had a beta release in June, and soon found out that the product simply was not good enough. There were too many bugs, and the whole platform was too messy (and perhaps a bit too ugly) to work in for those who quickly wanted to improve their banners. So now, 6 months later, we have scaled down the whole product, just keeping the necessarily core functions that actually adds value and keeps it fast and simple.
Banner creation and testing should not be a time consumer, and if it is, it’s probably better to put your time in other areas as in optimising your mediabuying, offers or landing pages.
The whole idea is very simple. Our platform is created to help you set up banners, but most importantly, automatically test and optimise those banners. You either create your banners directly in our banner builder, or upload your existing ones from Photoshop. You can then set up tests on different elements like images, headlines, CTAs etc. Then connect to your traffic source, and you’re done.
The whole process is created to be fast, simple and effective.
When your tests are created and your banner is connected to your traffic source, the magic begins. All tests on different elements will be in a queue and automatically implement winners and start the next test in line. So for example, if your first test is on 10 different images, and image #3 wins, that image will be implemented (and all losing images will be paused by then) into the next test that might be a… headline test! This process is automatic and after a few tests you will most likely have a whole new banner with the best image, headline, body and CTA. All this while you focus on optimising the other parts of your funnel. So basically you just need to set up and queue your tests once, and we’ll take care of the rest.
You can choose to test on either CTR or CVR.
