WTF Voluum? Some Voluum links are not working currently!!
Hi,
there are currently problems with some Voluum links. Newly created links are not working as well as some older active ones. See attached screenshot.
I've send traffic to an dead link the last hour.

To Voluum: Are you serious? The problems are getting more and more with your platform. When problems like this occure, don't you think sending out an email would be the right thing to do?
For me its time to change to another platform.

Got this email from them:
We incurred an issue with caching new element changes at approximately 15:00pm (CET).
Our developers are currently working on a fix for this and it should be live shortly.
Note: This incident only has implications on new elements (campaigns) which were created after 15:00pm (CET), existing campaigns created before this time should resolve traffic as normal.
Sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
If you have any further queries, don't hesitate to ask.
Not impressed at all.

The mail is incorrect. It impacts some active old links as well.

Yep, any changes in paths/flows made to old links don't get updated.

I'm facing the exact same issue in Voluum.
Damn. I can't believe I have spent $99 for this shitty service. It had good reviews .

Since Voluum has reps on this forum, I would suggest that when something of the sorts happens, you put some bigger notification on the dashboard. Not every single person who logs into a Voluum account gets the emails, plus definitely not everyone logs out to read the updates on the login page.

I've spent $xxx to advertise an 404 page. No conversion so far. Will keep testing.
What do you think? Should I try a different headline?
"Error 404"

Voluum : Caching issues for new campaigns.
Hi all,
We are currently experiencing caching issues with new campaign creation / changes.
Rest assured, this incident mainly has implications on new campaigns which were created after 15:00pm (CET).
Existing campaigns created before this time should resolve traffic as normal*.
*For isolated cases when older campaigns return a similar response, it is due to recent modifications having been made to the related campaign.
As a precautionary measure, we recommend that you refrain from directing any paid traffic to new campaigns.
Our developers are currently working on a fix for this and we will update you as soon as it is resolved.
Sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Caching issue fixed
Hi all,
The caching issue which we incurred this afternoon has now been fixed.
All new campaigns will now resolve redirects correctly.
Following this incident, we will implement dynamic panel notifications to improve transparency of such issues to our userbase.
Once again, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Regards,
Adrian

Voluum has also been very laggy and sometimes outright unresponsive for me for the past two days.

Has anyone ever had a server go down for a few minutes, or more?
I have. Multiple times.
It sucks when a trusted company has issues, but IMO, calling it "shitty service" because of a slight hiccup like this is blowing things out of proportion.
These things happen--it's part of the game.
