Hello STMers! I just want to ask you if there's randomly anyone here who uses Pinterest Ads to promote physical products in
And also a lot of people admit that Pinterest users are more likely to buy than any other network out there.
wow thats crazy! I still haven't gotten approved to sell on pinterest. They are still in beta I think. But $700 to make 41k is super crazy.
Yes, you can just google "Pinterest ads ecommerce Case study" and check it.
Ezra Firestone - he's a marketer selling "products" on how to make money on Pinterest. Take it for what it is...
If you are using
Yeah he's the guy with the case study I talked about before.
I just got my account approved, just started a $5 ad. Ill keep you guys updated. Kinda excited but dont want to get my hopes up. If its as good as Facebook we could have a new reliable traffic source.
so i know some guys here are killing it with
however i came across yesterday with an article that says that Pinterest have blocked all affiliate links so i dont know if this is possible today to use it as a new affiliate promotion channel.
Pinterest Bans All Affiliate Links, Redirects & Trackers from All Pins on Entire Site

if someone here knows that this isnt true and you can promote on Pinterest please share some info.
my 2 cents -- we use pinterest at my digital agency, the audience is as good as facebook but the platform has more caveats
they're more strict with what they approve, and the cpc floor is 10 cents. One unique thing is keyword based targeting, if you're a long-tail-genius you might have an edge on pinterest over facebook.
if you're promoting a tangible product, i'd suggest pinterest as a 2nd tier network after facebook.
Figure out good ROI campaigns on facebook, then copy them over to pinterest.
If you're selling a product directly, you should be able to tolerate the 10 cent CPC floor
Anybody readed some good guide about pinterest recently? I'm having really good cost per click and engagment but no sales at all. It's a proven product and audience from fb, so not sure why there aren't sales.
Does Pinterest use bots to check stuff ? Or both bots and humans ?
I tested with around 1,000 and lost my ass. Then they made their rules even more strict and it was too time consuming to even get an ad approved so I bailed.
anyone knows when pinterest ads will be available out of UK and US ? i'm from italy and i can't use them unfortunately
