sending paid traffic to my website or just to a landing page.

I want to send traffic from my Youtube video's to my website. Anyone has experience with this? Most of the traffic would be adwords for video. I'm not sure to send them to a landing page directly or to send them to my blog which encourages them to sign up. Or just put the affiliate link on Youtube and let them subscribe to the channel.

Hello Chunk,

First of all you can do a split test and see what works best for your campaign. You know testing, testing and testing ... in my opinion this one of the best way to understand what performs and what less.
Additionally, it really depends on the products you are promoting, but take in consideration that if the offer let's say is a less know brand a bridge page could help a lot to attract and convince users to do the action you are searching for.

Now as per sending the traffic to your website, here I think you should make sure that the traffic does not get "lost" on your blog - so you can create a special page as part of your website that will function as the LP for your campaign with all the attributes a LP has to boost a promotion.

Very much depends on what your end goal is. Are you pushing a single offer or looking to build a site / mailing list?

As a general rule, YouTube subscribes are close to worthless. Getting someone on a mailing list is worth about 10x getting them to subscribe. That wasn't the case even a few years ago, but they've steadily eroded the usefulness of subscribers.
