Facebook Reactions -> Effects on CTR

Hi,

since most of you might know, FB introduced reactions two days ago and its live everywhere.

What I have seen is, that the consensus here on STM is positive so far, with the opportunity to target people who really love your content.

What I have seen on our Pages and ADS is, that without any changes CTR actually goes down significantly What is your experience so far?

I really hope thats due to the novelty of the Reactions and gonna change fast, especially in the forseeable future there will be no Reactions Data from API.

Cheers and thanks

After the release of this, for the few ecommerce sites where I'm running ads I've only seen positive changes - higher CTRs, more interactions/comments and more sales. Hard to tell what's going to happen but my guess is it'll keep staying on the positive end, provided if you have products that people really love.

wow - okey. My friends run 100% whitehat, and everybody I talked too has higher CPC's since friday. Might be that they were running engagement ads though

The ecommerce sites I'm running ads for don't get anymore whitehat than that and the CPCs have been definitely lower - especially for website conversions, video views and even a few CPC campaigns. Post boosts and engagements I am yet to properly test as they didn't perform nearly as good as the rest with the initial tests before the reactions update.

I guess it's still way too early to tell though, and it'll probably vary for everyone. Will post an update if I see any decreases.

Hey Shishev,

thanks for the quick feedback. Yeah I am pretty sure its engagements that will be higher for the period till reactions wear off.

Cant speak for conversions or CPC campaigns and need to try out.

Thanks for keeping us updated and cheers
