I know an offer can go bad as fast as it went hot, but I'm just trying to understand what happened here.
The first campaign I made has my been my best one so far. Right off the bat I was getting 10-20 conversions a day at a low bid rate, maybe .006 -.009.
Then all of a sudden traffic and conversions pretty much stopped completely. I went from maybe getting 1000-3000 in traffic a day to 100-300 and 0-1 conversion no matter how high I increased my bid. I saw on the Popads summary section that someone pushed the max bid rate to .08. Just out of curiosity I raised my bid to beat theirs and take the number 1 position and I still received the same low volume traffic at 100-300 visitors.
I played around a bit and changed my bid to move me from 1 position, to 3, to 15..and still there were no significant changes in traffic. Is this offer just dead now? Why did a good performing campaign just belly up over night. And why didn't beating the ridiculous amount of top bid not increase my traffic? Also to note, I have the same exact offer on another traffic source and it's still performing well. High traffic, and high conversions. So the offers not completely dead, just on one traffic source?
I'm okay with letting the campaign go, but just want to learn why because I'm sure it'll happen again.
There really can be a lot of factors at play. This game is dynamic, and there are many other competitors and things at play.
