Using Qwaya as PMD? Here is how you make S2S Tracking work (using Voluum)

Just a quick info for those using Voluum + qwaya. Since end of november it is possible to send additional tokens back to your traffic source:

Before that, I couldnt make qwaya s2s work with Voluum as I was not able to send back a unique transaction ID (which qwaya requires) in addition to the the clickid. Now I am just using this as my postback URL to qwaya:

https://x.qwaya.com/direct?adgroup_id={externalid}&tr={payout}&ccy=USD &ti={transaction.id}

Of course for this to work, you need to place the correct postback URL with your affiliate network so it passes back the clickid and transactionid to voluum so it can then get passed along to qwaya.

To see those metrics in qwaya, you need to make the following adjusments to your reportings:

This is why I like to have accurate conversion data in qwaya:
- In general I just love having cost and revenue data in one "centralized" dashboard
- I can see graphs over time and see how different metrics like cpc correlate to budget changes/bid changes
- I can group by image/body/headline and see an overall indication of how these are performing across campaigns

PS: Here is the corresponding article in qwaya support:

I have Qwaya s2s working in the way you've described.

BUT - "Before that, I couldnt make qwaya s2s work with voluum as I was not able to send back a unique transaction ID (which qwaya requires) in addition to the the clickid" - Why can't you pass the Voluum click ID as the transaction ID?

instead of
https://x.qwaya.com/direct?adgroup_id={externalid}&tr={payout}&ccy=USD &[COLOR="#FF0000"]ti={transaction.id}
you could use
https://x.qwaya.com/direct?adgroup_id={externalid}&tr={payout}&ccy=USD &[COLOR="#FF0000"]ti={click.id}

The Voluum clickID is a unique ID that can be passed back to Qwaya. In theory that should work too, if you can't pass a transaction ID back from your aff network. Unless I'm missing something here...

cool thanks. I think I tried that but didnt work for me as I think it wasnt possible to pass that one back then when I tried.. but true, it just needs to be a unique id and it will work within qwaya
