Voluum - How to Properly Split Test - Flow + Weights or Separate Camps?

Noob question here.

Just wondering if it makes a difference in Voluum if I use one flow that split test multiple LPs with equal weight and multiple offers with equal weight, thus rotating each LP + offer with one camp URL.

Will I still be able to see which LP+offer combos are effective or would I need multiple camps to see everything a little more easily? Would I have to put anything in my postback to see which LP triggered the conversion or will Voluum just know automagically? Just seems like a lot of time to setup a camp for each combo.

Cheers,
Brad

Hey Brad,
Voluum knows automagically which lander the conversion came from. Voluum knows because when you use the campaign URL from voluum, it automatically redirects to the lander url, then when a user clicks to the offer url and a conversion is made it knows which lander triggered it. I usually create one campaign and add several different landers to split test things such as banner color, images, headlines. If I am using a completely different lander I will create a new campaign.. hope this helps.

Yes, Voluum tracks the whole "journey" of each click, so once a conversion happens, you will see exactly what banner it came from, what LP the click went throught etc ... given that you have setup all correctly of course. No need to setup a separate campaign for every banner/lp/offer combination.

You only make separate campaigns where it makes sense - different GEO, different vertical, different traffic source or a large spot, different carrier etc ... usually, every new campaign in a traffic source will also need a new campaign in your tracking solution.
