"We have been testing Reactions in a few markets since last year, and have received positive feedback so far. Today, we’re excited to offer it to everyone who uses Facebook around the world. We will continue learning and listening to feedback to make sure we have a set of reactions that will be useful for everyone. We hope you enjoy the new Reactions!
To add a reaction, hold down the Like button on mobile or hover over the Like button on desktop to see the reaction image options, then tap either Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad or Angry."

I'm wondering how these reactions will affect the ad-serving algo, account quality score, CPC, etc. Exciting move from FB for sure!
I think they are great in the sense that, if we can get actual data on these responses and learn what (if anything) strengthens ad eCPMs, we can learn how to tailor the content toward particular responses. That would be great!
On point, Zeno.
Also, life will probably get a lot tougher for people who run aggressive / non-compliant ads. I have a feeling that a lot of users who didn't express negative feedback on ads before (either because they were lazy or they didn't know how to report ads) will tap "Angry" now.
good point Rainmaker
This is a good chance to boost CTR, lower the cost and make more margin! Ofcourse only if you get more (L) icons than the angry ones.
Very excited to test!
Perhaps interesting to share before and after results of the exact same ad? I will if I got some ammo.
This would be awesome for custom audiences. That way you can find out who likes you post and who loves your posts. Get the person who took a little more time to press love/wow over just a like.
Making life harder for rebillers, one step at a time!
The new facebook reactions are a welcome move especially giving the freedom of expression...Waiting for even a thumbs down reaction!
But on the other hand marketeers need to beware of the reactions as they could impact the business in a positive as well as a negative way..however feedback can only help us grow and improve so it will be great to test them.
