Tracking offers that don't want to be found

Many times when I browse the web for ad research purposes (aka use spy tools) I run into small offers that look interesting. I would like to test these offers very much but the problem is that in many cases following up redirects you'll get either a super random affiliate network's tracker domain like asdfgf123.info which whois is private or you don't actually see any affiliate network hops (advertiser is running direct). To make things worse these offer sites usually don't even reveal the actual parent company making the offer in ToS or privacy policy pages due tax structuring or privacy.

What's the best way to track these offers down? I've tried asking my network managers but they usually know only about their own offers and obviously are reluctant to reveal a competitor even if they knew where to get it.

You could try searching on http://www.offervault.com/ if you haven't already?

OfferVault has really incomplete database but I do usually check it. I don't think I've actually ever found any offer via OfferVault though
