FAST Tracker suggestion
I made a Huge mistake. I'm a long time Imobi user and have since got used to its rather plain and fast interface. I decided yesterday, to quickly go back to prosper for the time being while I start looking for a fast tracker. I was happy with prosper pre-2014 as it did everything fine. But I did not use Imobitrax, so I really had nothing to compare it to.
Now that I'm back on it for the time being; I've noticed just how slow it is. The stupid popups also work on my tits. I suppose when its "free" you have to put up with some of the added junk that comes with it.
I've not used Voluum. I know a lot of you guys are using it, but maybe the speed isn't an issue for you.
Any suggestions?

FunnelFlux is the fastest from what I've read here.

A tracker should be your first investment. Get a self hosted one to remove the headache. It will be worth it. Check out the poll I posted. Voluum, Thrive and Flux coming out on top. They will all be fast enough for your needs.

I do need granular type data too (handset/carrier/device etc)

ADHD Version of the poll results so far:
- Best self hosted solution based on the poll: FunnelFlux
- Best hosted solution based on the poll: Voluum
- Best hybrid solution based on the poll: Thrive
I think you can't go wrong with any of these three, and it should come down to more whether you want self hosted or hosted trackers and their cost implications.

Hey, Stephen if you are looking for a fast tracker, Adsbridge is the one you have to try, but it's SaaS as well as Voluum.
Let me know if you need any assistance with it.

Self hosted would be my preference. Thanks Cmdeal.

If you really need to track super-fast, then it's possible to track without a tracker at all:
http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...l-Track-Anyway
But that'll require custom coding. (And more than the basic level because you'll need to do some post-processing of useragent data to get the granular information you require.)
Also, if you're concerned about lookup speed on the client-side, then you should make sure to use dns-prefetch, prefetch and preconnect in your landers to minimise load times there.
Hope that helps!
(For 95% of all solutions, one of the above pre-configured trackers will probably be best
But if you're really running large volume and want to squeeze every drop of ROI out, these tricks may be useful.)

I've been trying to think about this, but how do you determine "best"? Anyone with an STM account can vote and no one had to have even used more than 1 tracker to compare.
And btw, based on poll,
Thrive has more votes now, but who knows tomorrow.
Also, because a tracker has more users, it doesn't mean it's better necessarily, and the use that a big user gets out of a tracker is not weighted against someone who's tried it for 10k clicks. To me, it's pretty hard to determine "best" based on the poll.

I agree with this, the title of the poll should have been, 'what tracker do you use' instead of 'what's the best tracker', or make sure that only people who tried several were allowed to vote (and keep the names of the voters public).
